DM(MBTS)

A little bitter taste. Specific gravity: 1.50--1.59. Soluble in  benzene etc. Insoluble in water and ethyl alcohol. Given flat, moderately fast cures in NR and SR. Also used in a wide range of general purpose rubber. Non-staining/non-discolouring in "white" socks; use as a plasticizer and/or retarder in polychloroethylene rubber. Secondary acceleration is usually required for synthetic polymers. Better scorch safety than MBT.

CBS(CZ) is a primary accelerator giving delayed action, a fast curing rate. Non-blooming, it is widely applied in NR, IR, reclaimed rubber, SBR, NBR, and EPDM, especially for SBR.
